CDP uses a pin-and-ball arrangement: one structure carries steering torque while the other locates the wheel along the shaft. The CNC-machined 7075 aluminum body and internal spring contacts bring the mechanical and electrical connections together.

Fit and setup
Your wheelbase must have the matching CDP interface. Check the wheel-side mounting or adapter requirements for the exact steering wheel. CDP and CDR are different interfaces.
