The MM 4040 Indexed Monitor Swivel connects a horizontal 4040 extrusion arm to a vertical 4040 post and lets you reposition the arm around a vertical pivot. Its separate index pin selects repeatable positions, so you can move between your preferred viewing position and an access position without rebuilding the stand.

Intricate machined components, supplied as a premium finished assembly. The swivel arrives factory complete. Attach the finished mount to a compatible rig and arm, then fit your own VESA adapter and display.

This is modular mounting hardware for a compatible extrusion setup. Use one swivel for a single arm or choose a pair when your design calls for two mounting points. The arm, display support and supporting frame still need to be selected for the complete installation.

Why choose an indexed swivel?

Repeatable adjustment

The current design provides index positions from 0° through 90° in 15° increments. A separate pin selects the position while the main pivot remains retained. Actual usable movement depends on your frame, screen, cables and surrounding equipment.

A modular approach to an extrusion stand

Keep the support structure you already have and add the swivel where the arm meets the post, provided the profiles and mounting arrangement are compatible. The mount is a component of your stand, so you can plan the arm length and display adapter around your space.

Choose mounts only or add extrusion

Already have suitable extrusion? Choose the single or pair. Starting an arm assembly? The bundle adds two separate 30-inch pieces, giving you 60 inches of extrusion in total. Select the bundle in the package menu to order the included extrusion.

What is included?

Each swivel is supplied as a factory-complete finished mount. The single package contains one swivel. The pair contains two swivels. The extrusion bundle contains two swivels plus two 30-inch extrusion pieces.

Sold separately: Monitor, VESA adapter, vertical post, supporting stand, and profile-specific fasteners for attaching the mount to your own structure. Ask us to confirm the installation hardware your profile requires.

Installation and adjustment

Read the installation guide and confirm that the supporting frame is secure. Attach the finished mount using fasteners suitable for the exact extrusion profile, attach the horizontal arm, and fit your compatible VESA adapter and display. Check mounting security and clearance before use. Support the arm and screen while adjusting the swivel, and fully engage the index pin before releasing the assembly.

Leave enough cable slack for the full intended movement. Check that the screen, arm and cables clear the cockpit, wheel and nearby equipment. Inspect the fasteners and retained hardware periodically, and stop using the mount if there is looseness, damage or incomplete pin engagement.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to assemble the swivel itself?

No. The swivel is supplied factory complete. You attach the finished mount to your compatible rig and arm, then fit your monitor adapter and display.

Does the $79 presale price include a complete monitor arm?

No. The $79 presale price is for one swivel mount only. Choose the $169.99 presale bundle for two swivel mounts and two 30-inch extrusion pieces. A complete monitor stand and VESA adapter are still separate.

Is the bundle 30 inches of extrusion in total?

The bundle includes two pieces, each 30 inches long. That is 60 inches total.

Can I use any 4040 extrusion?

40 × 40 mm is the outside size, and mounting slots can vary. Send us your profile information so we can confirm fit and the appropriate attachment hardware.

Are the monitor and full arm shown in the render included?

The monitor, upright and VESA adapter are illustration references and are not included. The full-arm rendering shows an example installation rather than the exact layout of the two 30-inch extrusion bundle.

When will my preorder ship?

Orders start shipping November 1, 2026. This is a shipping start date, not a delivery date. Shipping is additional.
